PSI Is Chosen to Host Suzuki ServicePro Dealer Training

The PowerSport Institute hosted a Suzuki ServicePro Dealer Training class focused on Electrical Troubleshooting.  Scott Allison -District Technical Service Manager, Suzuki Motor of America, Inc., was on hand to present Bernie Thompson – PSI’s Campus Director, with a plaque recognizing PSI’s support in hosting Suzuki dealer training. Suzuki is one of many manufacturers who host dealer training at PSI to keep their current technicians trained on the latest equipment.   This three day Suzuki course is designed to teach technicians how to interpret block diagrams, understand common Suzuki electrical circuits, and use a systematic approach to troubleshooting electrical and EFI difficulties. The goal is to increase productivity, accuracy and timeliness of repairs to improve customer satisfaction.  Training is 70% hands-on, encountering difficulties based on real-world situations, teaching technicians how to identify, isolate, analyze and eliminate a wide variety of electrical issues and teaches skills that can be applied immediately upon returning to the dealership. PSI is a designated dealer training facility for Suzuki and hosts dealer training classes throughout the year.
