Ohio Technical College is pleased to now be a member of the Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA).
EGSA is the world’s largest organization exclusively dedicated to On-Site Power Generation. The Association is comprised of over 750 companies—Manufacturers, Distributor/Dealers, Contractors/Integrators, Manufacturer’s Representatives, Consulting & Specifying Engineers, Service firms, End-Users and others—throughout the U.S. and around the world that make, sell, distribute and use On-Site Power generation technology and equipment, including generators, engines, switchgear, controls, voltage regulators, governors and much more. Being a member of EGSA will aid Ohio Technical College in the continuation in providing our students with the industry knowledge and resources to make them succeed.
OTC’s Advanced Generator Power Systems Training Program is a 12-academic week, 300 clock hour program was designed for the technician desiring to obtain one of the highest levels of training in the diesel equipment industry and with an eye on a career with worldwide demand. Enrollment status for this program requires successful completion of OTC’s Auto-Diesel Technology or Diesel Equipment Technology program. Graduates of the Generator Power Systems program have secured careers with companies such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel and Caterpillar, as well as with hospitals, cruise ship companies, oil drillers and refiners, and the government.
