Ohio Technical College Announces March 2019 Instructor of the Month

Congratulations to our March 2019 Instructor of the Month! As far as OTC instructors go, Mox Eggert has reached legendary status. Eggert is himself a graduate of Ohio Technical College. He has been an instructor with OTC since 1979 and was instrumental in getting OTC’s Generator Power Systems program off the ground and established as one of the best recognized and respected power generator programs in the country. Eggert’s reputation within the industry is solid. He is EGSA certified and many long-time industry contacts reach out to him seeking qualified graduates from our power generation program to fill available positions within their companies. Eggert is extremely selective on which students are accepted into the program knowing the strict standards the industry has in their hiring practices. Students in his class learn quickly, there are no excuses for being late or not being prepared for class. When dealing with electricity a single bad decision or miscalculation could be catastrophic. It is instructors like Mox Eggert who have the dedication to devote their time to training and preparing a new generation of graduates into the demanding career field of power generation.
