Congratulations to Automotive student Samantha Kanganis for being name our December 2018 Student of the Month! She recently shared these “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me”, and to know Sam is to love her! Samantha is a 2017 graduate of Island Trees high School and Gerald R. Claps Career & Technical Center, Levittown, NY. She has been a stand-out student from day one. Sam participates in student activities. She is a student leader and campus tour guide. She is the first one to welcome a new face to campus and is also the top of her automotive class. Samantha strives to be a great student as well as a positive role model in class. She hopes to be part of a new wave of female students entering OTC’s BMW STEP training class in May. Just the other day Samantha told one of her instructors she had two goals before she graduated; one was to be recognized as a Student of the Month and the other was to accept her Associate Degree as the class valedictorian. One down, one to go!
