Landing a Job with BMW after Graduating from Ohio Technical College

BMW STEP ProgramFew automotive manufacturer brands have the same prestige as BMW does, and we’re proud to be one of just a few colleges in the nation to provide our students with the chance to work for this highly respected organization. BMWs are highly complex, with unique parts that require a special type of service to ensure the longevity of the automobile. You can learn how to become a certified BMW technician when you join this intensive 16-week program. This program is offered free of charge to select students who apply. Tuition for it is provided by BMW itself and is only offered to graduates of an ASE (American Standard of Excellence) program here at Ohio Technical College. The program, known as the BMW STEP Program (short for BMW’s Service Technician Education Program) is a graduation program of sorts to these graduates and provides them with all the resources and training to become a certified BMW technician. To qualify, you must uphold the same strict standards that the BMW brand espouses. You must have a clean driving record, a strong GPA (minimum 3.0), and good attendance here at Ohio Technical College (95% or better). You must pass a background check and have a clean drug record, too. Some students may be able to test into the program, as well. During the program, you’ll learn all about BMWs. You’ll learn about the history of the brand, all about the highly intricate electrical components included in these elite vehicles, and how to repair and service them. This is an incredible opportunity that can open many doors for the motivated student, giving them a chance to be part of an exclusive team of BMW technicians. After graduating from the BMW STEP Program, you are required to work for BMW for one-year following, but many people find themselves with a lifelong career with this company. If this sounds like your dream job, then you’ve come to the right place. Ohio Technical College is pleased to be partnered with BMW to give you the chance to land a fantastic career with this incredible automotive manufacturer!
