PowerSport Specialist graduate, Eryn Stall, has taken her OTC motorcycle training and is thriving in performance, aftermarket motorcycle parts. She’s a 2012 graduate from OTC’s PowerSport Institute and is currently working at Brock’s Performance in Beavercreek, Ohio. Brock’s is an online superstore of exclusive and high-end performance parts and accessories for all mainstream motorcycle manufactures with a world-wide customer base. She does some wrenching but is mostly customer and product support in explaining the various product lines. Stall knew from a young age when she rode dirt bikes, that a career in motorcycles was in her future. She started her training at another technical school but felt lost and faceless there. She wanted smaller class sizes and more personal attention. She found what she was looking for at OTC’s PowerSport Institute. She enrolled as a PowerSport Specialist - a 12-month program where she specialized in Yamaha and Honda products. She knew the training would help her get her foot in the door, and four weeks after she graduated, Stall was hired in a dealership in the parts department. “I learned a lot working the parts counter and I was able to continue earning my manufacture certifications.” Stall admits now being in the field as a woman in a male-dominated industry, “you can run away from the industry because you are scared of being singled out as a woman, or stick around, prove the doubters wrong and do amazing things!”
