Students Run ASE Workshop at Ohio Tech

Ohio Technical College recently had students from our leadership council put on a training session for other students to help them prepare for their ASE certification tests. Student leaders, Christopher Stroud (pictured on the left) and Andrew Olley (on the right) are both in our Automotive training program.

The training workshop is to help take the fear out of the certifications and to facilitate networking for study groups.  Our student leaders shared stories from their experiences with the process such as how to navigate the ASE website, how often they can test, and where the tests are offered in our area.  Students attended from OTC’s Diesel Training Program, Auto-Diesel Training Program, and our Collision Repair Training Program.

The entire workshop was student lead.  Director of Curriculum, Mike Peth and Director of Student Services, Bonnie LaCorte were on hand to help, but our students took over and did it all themselves!  We are so proud!!!
